with VDE 0636 and gG in accordance with IEC 60269 and EN 60269-1. Related voltage: AC500V. Size 00, 1 and 2 fuse links bear the German VDE mark.

Their special surface treatment provides enchanced corrosion protection. The fuse-links are recycable.

Applications

LV HRC fuse-links of the utilization category gG/gG for a rated voltage of AC500V are particularly suitable for overload and short-circuit protection of cables and lines. In addition, they can be used in device and system protection. Other applications include residential wiring, commercial applications, power supply networks, industrial equipment and system manufactoring.

Application

Type ,,IKUS”” HV HRC fuse-links are used for indoor and outdoor systems in the Rated voltage range 3.6…36kV.

They provide short-circuit protection of transformers and high voltage motors.

For transformer protection, we recommended selective coordination of transformer protection fuse-links of the utilization category gTr in accordance with VDE 0670 Table 2.

For high voltage motor protection, the starting current, starting time and starting frequency must be taken into account

LV HRC fuse-bases of the sizes 00-160A to 4a/1600A for surface mounting on walls have standardized dimensions in accordance with DIN 43620-3. The technical values are specified in IEC/EN 60269. Size 4a fuse-bases are equipped with a swing-in device. The fuse bases are designed for AC690V. The fuse-bases are suitable for the insertion of LV HRC fuse-links in accordance with DIN 43620-1 and for disconnection blades. They are actuated LV HRC fuse handles in accordance with DIN 43620-4 and VDE 0680-4. The fuse-bases are equipped with screw terminals for cable lugs as standard. Optionally, they can also be equipped with direct-connection terminals. The fuse-bases are available either open or with protective caps.

Applications

The fuse-bases are fixed on mounting plates or in fitted in insulating cases.

Type: 3-Pole / Surface Mounting

Size 00 fuse-bases are plugged together to form multipole bases by means of 1-pole bases, which allows an N and PE conductor to be added. Size 4a fuse-bases are equipped with a swing-in device. The fuse-bases are designed for AC690V and DC440V. The fuse-bases are suitable for the insertion of LV HRC fuse-links in accordance with DIN 43620-1 and for disconnecting blades. They are actuated LV HRC fuse handles in accordance with DIN 43620-4 and VDE 0680-4. The fuse-bases are equipped with screw terminals for cable lugs as standard. Optionally, they can also be equipped with direct-connection terminals. The fuse-bases are available either open with partitions or with protective caps.

For mounting on busbars, they combine three lengthwise-arranged 1-pole fuse switch-disconnectors in one unit. One contact of each phase (incoming contact) is connected to one phase of a 3-pole busbar system. The other contacts (outgoing contacts) are equipped with conductor terminals.

The universal LV HRC fuse switch-disconnectors are used in low voltage distribution cabinets, network and transformer stations and cable distribution cabinets of power supply and industrial companies, where they comply with all power distribution requirements.
